We didn't think Annyka was pregnant at the time and were very disappointed until the night before she had them. Our friend Barbara Wiseman who scanned her suddenly said I think there may be one if not two! The first born was Waps then Wenke and finally Willett who was the biggest and came five or so hours later!
He was an awesome sled dog when he realised what he had to do and then never looked back! Under the massive coat he had was in fact a very nice frame which made everything so easy for him in harness. He always ran wheel at the races but was just as good in lead which he did in the latter years with his friend Snuffie.
Waps was a very responsible lead dog with plenty of drive and focus. She was a very big bitch and her contribution in the 'B' class competition was awesome. An affectionate dog who loved her friends.

Winner of the Labatt's series 'B' class 1991/92
Winner of the BSDRA Championship 'B' class 1992/93 and 93/94
Runner up BSDRA Championship 'B' class 1994/95 and 1995/96
Winner BSHRA Championship 'B' class 1996/97

Willy:
Runner up BSHRA 'C' class 1997/98
Winner BSHRA 'C' class 1998/99 and 99/2000.
Wappy ran many 'D' class races with her sire Ditko in 97/98 all with top 10
finishes, before teaming up with Snuffie, Hunca Munca and others to have two
successful years in C3.

WILLY, WAPPY and TOAKI shared their final competitive race together as a C3
team at Rendlesham on 17th December 2000. Willy had two further races with
Snuffie in the 'D' class. Their running days were then finished with the
arrival of the 'foot and mouth' epidemic, since it was not possible to get
such senior veterans running again after a 6 month lay off.
